Five simple preparations for Demlane smoked mussels:
- Purée: sauté the mussels in butter with garlic and onion, add cream cheese, parsley, then puree in a processor until smooth. Serve on crackers or French bread.
- Add the mussels to a creamy, leak-spiced pumpkin bisque.
- Add the mussels to spaghetti mixed with roasted cherry tomatoes, garlic and parsley.
- Make a thick soup with chopped mussels, potatoes, onions, milk and stock and add some cream.
- Add the mussels to a salad made of rocket, fennel and tomato.
