Roderick Burgess

Roderick Burgess

Roderick Burgess qualified as a Chartered Civil Engineer before taking an MBA at London Business School. He then spent 15 years working in corporate strategy both as a consultant and in industry, including five years as Head of Strategy and Investor Relations for Tarmac plc. He now works as a self-employed strategy consultant and is an active investor in a number of small businesses, in two of which he has co-invested with fellow Director, David Fell. He obtained a degree in engineering science at Oxford University.


John Brewer

John Brewer

John Brewer qualified as a solicitor in London in 1983. Subsequently, he worked as an investment banker at various City firms and was until 2002 an executive director at UBS Warburg. During this time he gained considerable investment, financing and marketing experience within the UK, Europe and the US. He obtained a degree in law at Oxford University.

He co-founded SI Seafarms with David Fell in 2003 and in April 2004 was appointed to the management committee of the Association of Scottish Shellfish Growers.


Donny Gillies

Donny Gillies

Donny joined the company from the Scottish Shellfish Marketing Group, where he worked with the members to grow the business. He has previous extensive experience as a sales director at a number of food companies, and has worked with major supermarket customers on product development and innovation.


Mike Moran

Mike Moran

Isle of Shuna plc invited Mike to join the plc board as its first non-executive director in October 2006.

Mike is the Managing Director of brand and strategic marketing consultancy The Orchard Consultancy and Joint Managing Director of The Automotive Partnership. He is also a Director of The CV House Ltd and a Director of Blue Orchard Marketing Communications Ltd.

He has previously held board level positions at Toyota (GB) PLC, Ford Motor Company Ltd, RWE España S.A. and ESSBIO and ESSVAL, two of Chile's premier water companies.

He is a well known UK marketing commentator and advises the UK Government on its advertising and communications activities via his membership of the Cabinet Office's Advisory Committee on Advertising. He is also a member of the General Media Council of the UK Committee of Advertising Practice.

He is a Fellow of The Marketing Society, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Fellow of the Institute of the Motor Industry.
